Yes Brad, but can you try and think a little more deeply?
What were the different forms of farming and what problems do they present?
i think i could make a difference by composting and recylcling properly and inforcing this at school
on the video the farmers where dealing with not being abile to grow they crops and loseing to much of they land
Brad, do you remember how the video talked about monocultures? Can you explain to me what that means and what the problems with monocultural farming are?
Those are good things to do Will, but can you reflect on what you saw in the video?
there was talk about how we all drink from is all the same watter and how the water level is always the same all over the world
the powerpoint made me happy and sad at the same time. Sad because all the animals are lossing their habitats/homes. Happy because people are trying to change that
i think you might mean their land brad and yes i agree with brad i also think we need to stop the logging because all the animals will loose their habitatso then all these animals will become exticnt
we could save the forest if we are in a group that might help the rain forests
includs
composting
recylcing stuff so it might save the rain forests.
and i feel like i could do more at home to help out the rain forest and the community like grow vegtables use less oil and petral and use less of everything that i use that causes polution
i could do beter at home and others if tha follow it might stop globel warming
the farmers in Borneo are taking down trees to make palm oil trees to put the palm oil in to all the foods and to make money
Good thoughtful response James C. I too was impressed by the thought that we are today drinking the same water that people and animals have been drinking for thousands of years.
It was great to see you paying close attention to the video yesterday. Note taking certainly helps with retention of information. This shows with your answer to my question.
Well done!

Yes these are important things James. What about our purchasing decisions? What can you do in the supermarket to make a difference?

IN bornio cutting down trees to meet demand for palm oil.
wild firers slash + burn agriculture
thats the problem with the forests.
Yes James C. Lifestyle choices are a major contributor to destruction of our planet - remember in the video it told us that 20% of the world's people consume 80% of its resources? This is driven by our consumption-driven society.
We all need to remember:
- REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
particularly the first one!

Yes James Mc, Logging, Agriculture, Cattle, Road and Poverty are all factors that contribute to the disappearance of the world's rainforests.
