Yes Brad, but can you try and think a little more deeply?

What were the different forms of farming and what problems do they present?

Brad, do you remember how the video talked about monocultures? Can you explain to me what that means and what the problems with monocultural farming are?

there was talk about how we all drink from is all the same watter and how the water level is always the same all over the world

the powerpoint made me happy and sad at the same time. Sad because all the animals are lossing their habitats/homes. Happy because people are trying to change that

Good thoughtful response James C. I too was impressed by the thought that we are today drinking the same water that people and animals have been drinking for thousands of years.

It was great to see you paying close attention to the video yesterday. Note taking certainly helps with retention of information. This shows with your answer to my question.

Well done!

Yes these are important things James. What about our purchasing decisions? What can you do in the supermarket to make a difference?

Yes James C. Lifestyle choices are a major contributor to destruction of our planet - remember in the video it told us that 20% of the world's people consume 80% of its resources? This is driven by our consumption-driven society.

We all need to remember:

- REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

particularly the first one!

Yes James Mc, Logging, Agriculture, Cattle, Road and Poverty are all factors that contribute to the disappearance of the world's rainforests.
