I have learnt that it is important to have people that fight deforestation. I believe this because when we grow up and have kids we don't want them to miss out on seeing the animals that were around when we were kids. If people didn't try to stop deforestation people would just keep on cutting down trees and more and more animals would lose their homes and food.

I think it was good and you had to think about what is happening to the rain forest.

I learnt that the rain forest wont be around in 40 years time if people keep cutting down trees.I will be 56 in 40 years.

So we have done a bit of maths!

Every minute a football field size of rainforest land disppears

The way the rain forest is disppearing we are going to lose more and more animals.smile

That looks great James! Could you tell me a little bit about what the function of the rainforest is?

We need the rain forest's it helps the planet to breath.

I also think it is important that we save the rainforest because they give us more oxygen because trees give us oxeygen and the more oxygen we have the more comfortable we are and the better we can breathe

I learnt of other creatures and plants that are in the rainforests that were unknown to me, i also learnt that if people keep destroying them by cutting trees down etc in the end the earth with also be destroyed and not only will animals and plants die but so will people. we need rainforests to survive.
